I read the reviews as you can see them here, they are all pretty stellar. I picked the company based on these reviews and that it was a local company and is family owned and operated. I’m going to give this company the benefit of the doubt to say that if THIS actual company performed the services, it probably would be as the reviews indicate. However, THIS was not the company that showed up. I liked the convenience of booking online. I also like the text alerts and confirmations; I received a confirmation text that I was booked a that a team of two named Faye and Sandra would arrive at the designated time for my tile cleaning. The text included approximate arrival time which was an hour window. Estimated duration was one hour. I found that believable since I’ve had floors professionally cleaned before (different home and company). Well Nelson showed up- on time between the designated time window. I have white tiles with white grout. I know this because that is how they appeared when I moved in and the previous owners had told me that she just had the tiles cleaned. I asked Nelson if he would be able to restore them to the color they were and he simply stated he would try. He was there ALL day. I took a few hours off work to be there for this but I had to leave to go into work. My husband remained and canceled his plans for the afternoon to hang out but then eventually he had to go to a VA appointment so then my son was left with him when he came home from school. Nelson was not done until late afternoon and he was by himself. Don’t get me wrong, the guy was pleasant enough and was obviously a hard working guy but he was not Faye and Sandra and he was not there for just an hour or even a couple. The tiles were clean enough and the grout lines were not what I hoped to be but a step up from the pre-cleaned version. For that alone, I felt compelled to pay because I believe services rendered should be paid for despite the dirty water that was kicked up on my walls from his machine by the baseboard which I had to go over and wipe off. What I don’t like is this bait and switch tactic. It’s obvious this job was sub-contracted out. I saw Nelson’s van outside and this was NOT the company I expected services from. For this reason I would not recommend or at least confirm with company that your requested services will not be subbed out.

We have used American floor solutions twice now. The first time for furniture cleaning and the second for tile and rug. Both times we had mike and he is very professional and courteous! We will continue to use they're services. They were a life saver for storm clean up. Brought our tile back looking like brand new!!!!

Michael from American Flooring Solutions came to our newly purchased house to clean the carpets and tile floors. The carpets were very heavily stained in all rooms. Michael was extremely diligent about vaccuming slowly, in 2 directions and showed us the extraordinary amount of dirt and debris he got. Then he shampooed the carpet and the water was very dark with exhumed dirt. His attention to detail is just what you want. I highly recommend Michael and American Flooring Solutions

AFS did an outstanding job on cleaning my area rug! Came 2 days after I called and Michale is very professional and knows what he’s doing! Considerate of our home with corner protectors on cabinets, furniture and very tidy!! Highly recommend!! 5 ⭐️

As of 7/20/24, Michael has had three of 143 reviews lower than 5 stars. That's in 3 years. I chose Michael because multiple people recommended him when I was searching for a carpet cleaner. Their accolades for Michael are similar to the compliments you see in these 5-star reviews. I am a customer of Michael's, I've never met him outside of the two times he has cleaned my home. He is easily one of the most conscientious workers I have ever met and definitely the most passionate about carpet cleaning. Michael works at this company but does not own it.
