Roger Decker5 StarOur water heater started leaking unexpectedly and I called at 4:00 PM to schedule a repair. They had a technician here at 8:30 the next day and he was done by 11:30. Great professional workmanship. The price was higher than I anticipated but you get what you pay for. Everything is expensive these days and quality work is worth getting it done right the first time. I totally recommend Veteran plumbing. Brian did a great job!Wednesday 8th May 2024
Ania K5 StarGreat company. Always on time. Pleasant to work with. Very knowledgeable staff. They will show you what’s wrong with the unit, which part might need to be replace or clean, what can be done to make your unit work more efficient. They take pictures to show you what’s inside the unit and what was done to it. I strongly Recommend Veteran Air .Friday 16th February 2024
Amanda Kopf5 StarJordan seemed experienced, thoughtful, and took time to assess our system. We really appreciated his clear explanations.
The three folks we've had from Veteran Air are down to earth people who are not trying to up-sell. They explain their assessments and suggested solutions.
They've worked efficiently without acting like they were in a quarter hour billing time crunch. I think this allows them to take time to do their best. That's invaluable for all!Tuesday 14th May 2024
Sandra Wright1 StarAfter Hurricane IAN repairs were completed on my home I had a new 4 point inspection done for my insurance company. The inspection revealed a double tap existed on my main disconnect on the outside next to the meter box that had to be removed. I contacted Veteran AC & Electric for this job . The Technician was very courteous and professional and informed me the double tap was power to my outside shed and was not up to code. I requested he remove the double tap to restore the panel to code. He performed the work and capped off the shed circuit, then inspected the house Breaker panel and informed me there was no room in the existing panel to ad any additional circuits and that I needed to upgrade my house panel along with the outside Main disconnect and meter box. then presented me with a $13,000 estimate. I was under the impression this was my only option and scheduled the job for later in the week. At this point I was not presented with an invoice for the service call, so I requested the Technician send me an invoice showing the double tap had been removed to provide to my insurance company. The invoice showed no charges (all zeros).
Later that day I spoke with a contractor friend of mine and the home inspector who informed me I had the option of leaving the shed disconnected and leaving everything the way it is. The following morning (less than 24 hours later) I contacted Veteran AC and canceled the job as was my right under the contract. I then communicated with Madison at Veterans AC to get an invoice for the service call so I could pay for it. Madison was extremely helpful in resolving this issue, 4 weeks later I got an invoice for $499 dollars for that service call stating 1 task at 1 hour with no materials used. At that price I will not be using Veterans AC & Electric in the future.Tuesday 7th May 2024
Jack Knisley5 StarVeterans HVAC did an amazing job servicing our home. Your technician Casey Solway was very professional and knowledgeable. Not only did he service our entire unit, I explained that our compressor made a loud noise when it started. He recommend a part to help ease the load on start up and hopefully give us more life on our system. Then when he was up in our actual unit it was full of dirt and appears to be mold. Again he had the solution by taking the entire unit apart and cleaning almost to new, then installing two lights that help inhibit future growth. Yes this cost us an additional $1800 but we feel the long term benefits will far offset that expense. A job well done.Wednesday 24th April 2024
